Fragrances are not monolithic. They evolve with time, unveiling successively different facets.
Top Notes
are given by the most volatile elements and stay several minutes
Ex. citrusy notes (Begamot, Lemon), fresh spices (Cardamom), green notes…
Middle Notes
Just come after and stay several hours. They form the body of the fragrance
Ex. floral notes (Rose, Jasmine), fruity notes, aromatic notes (Lavender)…
Dry Down Notes
carry the heaviest and most remanent elements, lasting several hours to several days
Ex. woody notes (Sandalwood, Patchouli), oriental notes (Vanilla)…
